Hello, I'm AK.
I'm a business architect by practice, so I spend a lot of time in the spaces in between: between strategy and execution, and between what customers want and what the business can sustain. In recent years, I've been directing strategy, leading engineering teams, and helping colleagues navigate change.
I’m currently a Director at Smart Systems Technologies, where we are building human-first digital ecosystems that connect operational silos using data reflection, adaptive workflows, and autonomous agents.
I also work with early-stage startups and growing technology companies on customer discovery, testing ideas, and launching new products. I've worked with teams creating solutions in InsurTech, FinTech, AdTech, and EdTech.
Diagrams of Questionable Value
I make sense of ideas using boxes, arrows, and a healthy dose of optimism. Over the years, I’ve built a collection of diagrams of varying usefulness, which I’m sharing some of them here in the hope they may be helpful to others. As with most things on the internet, your mileage may vary.
